Easy Price Pro is the UK’s leading estimating software company.

The software was invented by a builder who wanted to put it on the market and sell it to construction companies.

The software has excellent capabilities, but needed a design overhaul and be made ready to sell. A brand needed to be created and marketing materials were required.

  • Co-founded the company
  • Developed the brand and e-commerce website
  • Improved the user interface design of the software, to make it a marketable product
  • Designed the brochures, advertisements, exhibition display boards and product packaging
  • Created scripts and videos for promotions and training
  • Set up and administered a database of contacts and customers
  • Created marketing campaigns and analysis reports
  • Designed e-newsletters
  • Produced articles for trade publications
  • Managed the organic SEO and pay-per-click advertising
  • Managed and administered the Agency Contract for a team of 18 sales agents
  • Provided face-to-face demonstrations and presentations of the software to exhibition stand visitors
  • Secured a partnership with Grafton Merchanting (BuildBase) in order to sell a ‘BuildBase’ branded version of the software
  • Secured an alliance with Eleco PLC
  • Trained and managed marketing and office staff
  • Developed office systems and procedures
  • Managed and analysed cash flow and P&Ls
These are the results that my work contributed to:

  • Turnover of £1.2m in its second financial year with £297k profit (T/O and profit increased by 1000% within a 12 month timeframe)
  • A team of 18 sales agents around the UK and Ireland
  • The software is the market leading product of its kind in the UK and Ireland
  • A database of over 30,000 prospects
  • Over 4000 customers using the system and regularly upgrading to new versions
